Chrysler Lawsuit Surrounding Uconnect Problems

Published on October 26th, 2020

There has recently been a class-action lawsuit filed against Chrysler alleging that 2017, 2018, or 2019 Chrysler Pacifica or Chrysler 300 vehicles have issues with their Uconnect infotainment system.

There are specific problems with the infotainment system, as the screens keep freezing or going black. Plus, the GPS navigation systems are not working and there are issues with the rear back-up camera, in addition to problems with Bluetooth functionality. There is a wide range of problems linked to this particular recall.

The suit claims that drivers may become distracted when the Uconnect system malfunctions as they take their eyes off of the road to fix the problem, increasing their risk of a crash.

Fiat Chrysler is allegedly aware of the issues with the Uconnect system defects; however, the suit claims that they have done little to fix it.
